Description

This Roman wooden writing tablet was found in a well underneath the National Roman Legion Museum and is held in the collections there. The tablet is inscribed with ink. This is the oldest handwriting in Wales. Accession number: 84.43H/8.1This item is part of the Roman School Teaching Resource for Key Stage 2.
