Description

This is a document about The Council for Women's Affair for the State of Sao Paulo, Brazil. It officially began its activities as a government agency on September 12, 1983. The Council's main objective is to define a consistent policy to help Brazilian woman dealing with any kind of discrimination problems which might affect her.

The launch of The Council for Women's Affair is a direct result of victorious campaigning by the women's movement in Brazil, 1983.
