Homes in the Time of the Romans

Description

Romans occupied Wales between AD 47 and about AD 410, and where they settled they built homes called villas. These were stone buildings with a bath house, heating system and mosaics. Oil, wine, pottery and glass were imported from across the Roman Empire.
