Description

Asian Boys Club started in the late 70s, a development from the International Club which Ingrid and Graham Wilson set up during the early 1970s. There was a need in the community for a group to cater for the young Pakistani families that were moving into the area at the time. Many good things happened as a result of Asian Boys Club. A fledgling cricket team formed with many talented players. John Porter, Monis Mouflahi and Omar Ali amongst many other youth workers began their careers working with the young Asian men. There were many outings - Brian Selby remembers them well!
