Description

A group portrait taken in 1883 of the first football team to be formed in Llandrindod Wells. The shirts of the players carry their prominent six-pointed star team badge, and there seem to be almost as many officials as players. The bowler-hatted man on the left is all set to blow his whistle, it would appear.
