Description
A record of payments made by Llanidloes Corporation to William Davies in 1881 for book-keeping and clerical duties. These included entering the details of the Borough Rate at a halfpenny per line and writing 1076 receipts at a halfpenny each. He was paid two pence each for recording 30 deaths, and the same rate for recording 57 births.
