Description

A newspaper clipping from South Wales Echo on a musical charity event hosted by the amateur theatre company Stagestruck. This was held to raise money for Velindre Hospital in Cardiff and a specialist children’s hospital in Israel. The show showcased songs from West End musicals and was held at the Howardian Community Education centre in Penylan. The article also includes an image of some of the performers, listed as Jane Manuel, Eva Walters, Laine Addams, Mitzi Goldberg, Renee Wolf [sic], Susie Kahn, and Lorraine Marks. Stagestruck was formed in 1986 to raise money for charities by performing variety shows produced by Jane Manuel.
