Description

Part of a human cranium (skull) found along with other human remains of adults and children at Ifton Quarry in the early 20th century. Some of the bones have been dated to the Late Neolithic period (2500BC - 2000BC). This is a female skull and some of the teeth are still present. They are very worn and further analysis on the bones will hopefully give information about diet and lifestyle.
