BORTH.

A concert was heldat Libanus Chapel on Friday night to welcome home Pte. David Hughes, Boston, who has been on active service. The Rev J. C. Evans (pastor) presided. Solos, recitations, and addresses were given by Misses D. Jenkins, Mary Evans, Dilvs Rees, Dora Jenkins, Bessie Jones, Mary L. FouIds, and and [sic] Messrs Harvy, Beynon; and A. Aldridge. The proceeds over £4 were handed over to Pte Hughes. Capt. Owen Enos, Aberystwyth a native of Borth, who has been a prisoner of war for eighteen months, addressed the meeting.
