Description
Scientific Name:Clavaria fragilis
Fungi facts:This species belongs to the group of fungi known as 'Club fungi' . It is found in woodland but is more conspicuous in grassland where it grows in clumps living off dead vegetation. The spindles are about 10 cm. high, hollow and very fragile (hence the epithet fragilis).
