Description
Linocut print of Emily Brontë by Paul Peter Piech.
English writer Emily Brontë is best known for her only novel Wuthering Heights. After it was published, reviewers did not know what to make of Wuthering Heights, and it was only after Brontë's death that the book developed its reputation as a literary masterpiece. She also published one book of poetry with her sisters Charlotte and Anne titled Poems by Currer, Ellis and Acton Bell with her poems finding regard as poetic genius.
