Description
A helmet plate of the Dyfed Powys Constabulary. Called a 'Constabulary when it was first formed in 1968, with the merger of the Carmarthenshire & Cardiganshire Constabulary, Pembrokeshire Police and Mid-Wales Constabulary. As was the case with many forces across the UK, the word 'constabulary' was changed, in favour of the word 'Police'. *The Ross Mather Police Memorabilia of Wales Collection.
