Description
The shooting party standing outside of the famhouse courtyard (the rocky outrcrop in rear is the location of the present day triangulation point.
Vaughan Davies (with white beard) is standing behind the dogs, Mrs Singleton Fulshaw (with dark hat) is sat in the middle. The dead birds appear to be partridges.
The flagstaff is spectacular, suggesting some kind of special occaion.
Anyone familiar with Skomer today would be surprised by the lack of bracken.
