Description
This photograph is a copy of an original photograph believed to have been taken during John's recruit or trade training with the Royal Navy during 1956/1957. The photograph is interesting as it depicts John (Front row bottom right looking at the photo) in period uniform, equipped with water bottles and Satchel's synonymous with the 1940's and 1950's.
