Description

This ironmongers and cycle agent business, based at 35, Station Road, Brynaman, was mentioned in the 1910 and 1923 Kelly’s Trade Directories, the original proprietor being David Walter Davies, the father of Hilaria, who ran the business up until the 1990s. The business became known as Siop Laria, and also had a small petrol station. It is still called Siop Laria to this day and is now a general merchant and delicatessen.
