Description
The photograph shows a group of boys and young male workers at the Kidwelly Tinplate Works in around 1900. They were recruited to work mainly in the cold rolls. As they became older they transferred to other parts of the works.
In 1881there were 51 boys and young men working there. There were also 10 boys between 10 and 15 employed.
