Description

This memorial names twelve members of Castle Street chapel and two of Moorfields chapel who fell in the First World War (both Welsh Baptist chapels in London). The inscription at the bottom reads 'Mur oeddent hwy i ni nos a dydd' - 'They were a defence [literally a wall] for us night and day'.
