Description
This building was also a gaol and execution site. The friar, Charles Mahoney, was the last person to be hanged here, on 12 August 1679. Part of the gibbet may still be seen at the West end of the building (the end facing Upper Clwyd Street). The building was restored in 1926 and now serves as NatWest bank.
