Pittsburgh, Pa., March 12.-Mrs. Dan Beddow, wife of the 'Welsh tenor, had an operation at Presbyterion Hospital in Allegheny, and her friends and relations are glad to hear that she is gradually improving. Mrs. Walter James, Woods Run, has a dangerous illness; her many friends wish her a speedy recovery.
