Description
Ingredients
- potatoes, coarsely cut
- onions
- bacon rashers
- a little flour
- water
Method
- Fill a saucepan with alternate layers of potatoes and sliced onions, finishing with a layer of potatoes.
- Sprinkle with a little flour and cover with bacon rashers.
- Add water to the level of the last layer of potatoes, cover the bacon with grease-proof paper and press firmly with a plate.
- Place a lid on the saucepan and simmer the contents until cooked.
A favourite dish served for dinner or supper in Porth Dinllaen.
