Ingredients
- salmon steak
- salt
- milk
Method
- Immerse the salmon steak in boiling milk, add salt to taste and simmer gently, allowing about fifteen minutes for every pound in weight.
- Boiling it too briskly will cause the salmon to flake in the milk.
- When cooked, drain and slice as needed.
- Serve warm with potatoes baked in their jackets or cold with fresh cream.
