Description

The 25th Annual Report for 1941-42 of the Cardiff League of Social Services and Charity Organisation Society, a printed booklet of 12 pages including a report of the major events throughout the year of 1942, a comparative statement of work since 1938, a statement of tuberculosis cases, a subscriptions list, and a balance sheet. The Annual meeting was held on 25 March 1942, the Report was prepared by Miss Stainer and Mrs Horner and the financial report was presented by Mr T V Philips.

The extract on page two shows a list of Officers and Committee members, and the Aims and Constitution of the League on page three. The second image shows the balance sheet for the accounts of the Cardiff League of Social Services and Charity Organisation Society.

Formed in 1886 as the Cardiff Charity Organisation Society, the organisation was re-constituted as the Cardiff League of Social Service in 1912 and later became the Cardiff Family Welfare Association.
