Description
Diagram of the skeleton of Dracoraptor hanigani, the New Welsh Dinosaur, found near Penarth in 2014. It is the oldest Jurassic dinosaur ever discovered in the UK. It was named Dracoraptor hanigani after the Hanigan brothers who found the fossil skeleton. Dracoraptor means 'dragon robber'. This item is held at National Museum Cardiff.
