This photograph, headed Maes y dderwen County School, Ystradgynlais, 1938, shows the Headmaster, Mr W. Seth Owen, in the centre with other members of staff and a group of pupils, possibly Head Prefects or House Captains. The staff standing at the back are (left to right): Miss J.M. Thomas, Mr George Jones, Mr W.H. Parkhouse, and Miss Theda Watkins.

Rhowan and Bethan met at a comics event in Aberystwyth when Rhowan noticed Bethan was wearing an anime t-shirt. They struck up a friendship, which blossomed into the creation of 'Aber-Con'. A comics, anime and movie convention held each year in Aberystwyth.

Interview with Lyndon Lloyd MBE, in Beulah, Ceredigion. Lyndon was a county councillor in Ceredigion and was involved in supporting Mencap Ceredigion over the years. Lyndon talks about his early life and upbringing; his education including studying social sciences and social work in the 1950s and placements in hospitals in Cardiff and Ely. Talks at length about his career in social working as Cardiganshire [Ceredigion] County mental health officer from 1969, his time as a county councillor and his involvement and support for Mencap Ceredigion.
