Corwen Museum is a small, volunteer-run community museum which first opened in 2015 and has been developing ever since. We have been on a steep learning curve but, judging by the comments in our Visitors Book, we do seem to be creating something of great interest to visitors and locals alike. We tell the story of Corwen and its surrounding villages in the Edeyrnion area of rural North Wales, taking new themes each year, to broaden our knowledge and to bring new interest to returning visitors. We have about forty volunteers who are all very enthusiastic and who want to share their love of the area with all they come in contact with. As our reputation grows, we are finding that more and more people are bringing in local artefacts, documents and photographs and we want to share these with a much wider audience. The Peoples Collection is a perfect platform for doing this.
